Previously, Jonathan helped grow Vimeo as VP/GM, was a co-founder of Pronto, and held a variety of incubation roles at IAC/InterActivecorp. His career started in the Technology M&A Group at Banc of America Securities, and he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics.
David Marcus
Founder
David was born and raised in La Jolla, Ca. and matriculated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to founding HiiDef Inc., David was a project manager at Trigram GC and founder of Project Rebar. David currently resides in Aventura, Fl with his brother Jonathan, and two dogs Marlo and Avon.
Jack Zerby
Product Designer
After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology, Jack spent 3 years as a designer for Pentagram Design and partner Lisa Strausfeld. After Pentagram he worked as a designer for R/GA and Frog Design. Most recently he was the design director for Vimeo, where he created the design/identity for Vimeo Plus, HD, Channels, Categories, Stats, and Groups. He lives in Hoboken, NJ with his wife Marisa, and his baby boy Jack. He is also a musician with 3 independently released albums.
Rob Morris
Product Designer
Rob's work has been featured in online design galleries, magazines and books worldwide. In 2002 Rob founded Digitalmash, working for clients including Coca-Cola, Knowledge Network, Broadway.com, and hip hop artist JAY-Z. Rob holds a Masters in Internet Communication and currently resides in Japan Australia, with his wonderful partner Krista.

Brent studied economics at Pomona College. After graduation he discovered that computers are not magic (it's true!) and learned to program them.

John studied computer science at Florida State University. He lives as a billionaire playboy by day and a shadowy super-developer by night, keeping early-stage companies safe from harm. Along the way he has teamed up with heroes like Oven Digital UK, The Village Voice, Wal-Mart, MochiMedia, and Offbeat Guides.
Eli White

Eli is from West Virginia and studied Computer Science at WVU. He worked for Digg, Hubble Space Telescope, TripAdvisor, Zend and others. He wrote a PHP book, speaks at conferences and has numerous hobbies including video games, poker, golf and medieval reenactment. Above all he's a proud father and husband.

Ray is from Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He was the co-creator of the first desktop podcast client iPodderX, and spent the past 3 years working for Mahalo. He loves scaling and data technologies, python, gaming, and sailing. He is a loving husband and father of 2 adorable children.
Ed "Funkatron" Finkler
PHP Developer
Ed is a web developer in the classic sense, with expertise in design, front and back-end development. Prior to joining HiiDef, he was the web monkey and a security researcher for 8 years at CERIAS at Purdue University. He is the creator of the PHPSecInfo auditing tool and the Inspekt input filtering library for PHP. Ed also created the award-winning open source JavaScript microblogging client Spaz, and is a strong advocate for open technologies. He lives in Lafayette, Indiana with his family.
Sean Jackson

Sean is from Oakville, Ontario Canada and has been a professional developer for over 15 years. Sean has spent the last three years building and leading the design of all UI/UX experiences at Mahalo. Prior to Mahalo, he was one of the pioneers of web conferencing at Astound/Genesys Conferencing, creator of iPodderX for Windows and the social media site Popcurrent. He is passionate about jQuery, Python, Django, music, gadgets and spending time with his kids. Sean is a husband and a proud father of 4 wonderful children.

As a veteran system administrator in the highly competitive web hosting industry, Jeff gained insight into the full technology stack of web hosting/cloud computing services on multiple hardware and software platforms. An avid PHP developer who stays active in the community via chatrooms, user groups, and conferences, he brings with him a unique "devops" perspective and an internet swiss-army knife skillset.

Previous employers include Automattic and Miles Media, where she served as web editor for the company's largest client. Born a Hoosier, she currently calls Sweden home.
